As part of the MAD Parcours, The Dominican  is looking for a fashion designer to showcase their work in an exclusive showroom from 14th to 16th November 2024.

The Dominican Hotel  offers a unique opportunity for the selected brand to establish itself in the 77-square-metre "Grand-Place" suite, the ideal setting to exclusively showcase your collections and bestsellers to the Brussels public. Do you wish to benefit from the visibility offered by a prestigious hotel in the heart of Brussels and reach a high-end, international clientele? Are you still looking for a venue in the city centre to join the MAD Parcours ? The Dominican invites you to collaborate in creating an unforgettable experience, blending historical tradition with contemporary elegance.

 

ABOUT THE DOMINICAN HOTEL

Formerly a Dominican monastery and the residence of the famous artist Jacques-Louis David, The Dominican has been transformed into a luxury hotel by the Dutch design team FG Stijl. Combining historical charm and artistic elegance, this hotel is part of the Design Hotels and Carlton Collection groups, which aim to offer exclusive and immersive experiences to their guests through our passion for fashion, design, and luxury. With 150 rooms, a restaurant, a bar, and three versatile meeting rooms, The Dominican embodies elegance and comfort.

 

WHAT DOES THIS CALL FOR APPLICATIONS OFFER YOU? 

This call for applications offers you the opportunity to showcase your work in one of Brussels' most elegant destinations. By exhibiting your fashion project at The Dominican Hotel, you will benefit from the visibility provided by their international clientele and their renowned status in the fields of design and luxury. Additionally, this opportunity will allow you to be listed in the MAD Parcours, an initiative that will highlight local fashion and design designers from 14 to 16 November 2024.

 

SELECTION CRITERIA

  • Be a Brussels-based fashion designer or represent a Brussels-based fashion brand

  •  Have a project that aligns with the world of The Dominican, its clientele, and its values

  •  Be available to work with The Dominican team on the preparation and production of the exhibition

Phase 1 : Submit your project, portfolio, and a moodboard via the form by 23 June 2024 (23:59).

Phase 2 : The shortlisted candidates will be invited to present their projects to the jury during the last week of June.

Phase 3 : The candidates selected following the jury will work closely with The Dominican team to prepare the exhibition.
