From April 29th to May 8th 2022, Brussels will be all about contemporary jewellery! The European capital brings together established and emerging artists, collectors and an international public for the very first edition of the Brussels Jewellery Week.

The Brussels Jewellery Week aims to showcase contemporary jewellery as a creative and innovative craft. In addition to the main exhibition at MAD Brussels, you can also participate in a city tour, talks and workshops.

Exhibition 'In Fieri' at MAD Brussels

In the heart of the Dansaert district, more than 100 contemporary jewels will be shown during the main exhibition In Fieri. A brooch made of sugar, a necklace made of rubbish or a torn shirt transformed into a piece of jewellery. You can discover it all at MAD Brussels during The Brussels Jewellery Week.

In Fieri, which means "in the making" refers to the transformation of materials but also of the artist. It is the stage where "being made" and "becoming" overlap in a significant  way.

Discover the creations of 51 designers from 20 different countries during the In Fieri exhibition at MAD.

ABOUT BRUSSELS JEWELLERY WEEK

The Brussels Jewellery Week is an initiative of Les Brucelles asbl, named after a small pair of pliers used in jewellery making. It aims to encourage the visibility and recognition of contemporary jewellery design by promoting and exhibiting their work, not only to art lovers, professionals and cultural authorities, but also to the general public.
