MAD Brussels is organising a speed dating session between Brussels-based creators and venues open to welcoming them as part of the MAD Parcours.

Through this speed dating session, MAD Brussels encourages a symbiotic connection between creators, multi-brand stores, shops offering Brussels-based brands, and any other establishments willing to open their doors to Brussels designers and brands to occupy their spaces during the MAD Parcours. This initiative also aims to foster collaboration between young creators and established businesses, thereby stimulating sales in local shops.

Are you a creator looking for a sales space to join the MAD Parcours? Do you have a venue and wish to open your doors to a creator during the MAD Parcours? Join us on Tuesday, May 14th, 2024, at 3:00 PM at MAD Brussels for a speed dating session between creators and hosting venues. Register before April 30th (23:59) here.

ABOUT MAD PARCOURS

From November 14th to 16th, 2024, MAD Brussels will showcase the creative essence of Brussels by organizing the Downtown edition of the MAD Parcours. This weekend dedicated to local fashion and design actors will enliven the city center as the festive period approaches towards the end of the year celebrations.

LOCATIONS ELIGIBLE FOR MAD PARCOURS

The eligible addresses are as follows:

FASHION — Workshops & Boutiques (multi or mono brands) for jewellery, leather goods, shoes, accessories and ready-to-wear.

DESIGN — Furniture design workshops and boutiques, collectible design galleries.

POP-UPS — Design/fashion pop-ups in any other venue wishing to take part and showcase Brussels designers and brands in these sectors.

OTHER LOCATIONS — Shops, restaurants, hotels, etc. are not excluded from this initiative, as they will be able to host scenographies and installations specially designed for the occasion by creative artists based in Brussels.

Main criterion: these different locations must display local fashion or design designers in order to be included in the parcours.

The walk will be made available to the public via an interactive map listing creative addresses in the city centre. Each participating shop will have a QR code giving customers easy access to the selection of locations. Participants will have the opportunity to be listed on the map and benefit from the emulation and mutual influence of each other.

Focus ON DowNtown

This edition of the MAD Parcours will cover the Dansaert and Sainte Catherine areas, extending as far as the Bourse, de Brouckère and the Galeries Royales. The northern part of the area will extend as far as Rue du Vautour.
