From 18 to 23 April, you can find the work of 13 Belgian design studios at Milan Design Week for the 15th time. Under the name Belgium is Design, MAD Brussels, Wallonie-Bruxelles Design Mode, Flanders DC and Hub Brussels will present 13 Belgian design studios at the well-known SaloneSatellite design fair. Discover the participating design studios here and in Milan at stand number D13-E08, pavilion 13-15.
The strength of this collective stand coordinated by Belgium is Design is the richness and diversity of the profiles selected by the jury, but also their attachment to a handcrafted reality. From woven textiles to refined wood, marble scraps or steel, traditional gestures coupled with revisited industrial know-how is taking over. It seems that the industry nowadays requires a hybrid design more human-centered and poetic, both essential in this sector.
