Nocturne & performance by Bieke Buckinx

Curious about the latest innovations and trends in ceramics? To kick off the last weekend of the exhibition 'The Power of Ceramics', MAD opens its doors on Thursday 23 February until 10 p.m. During this nocturne evening, you can discover the work of 30 Brussels and international designers and have a cosy chat afterwards at the bar.

Besides ceramics, you can also admire Bieke Buckinx's painting in the exhibition. But be on time, because at 7 p.m. she cuts her 220x610 canvas live into 16 pieces.

' CUT UP ' PERFORMANCE BY Bieke Buckinx

Brussels-based artist and painter Bieke Buckinx exhibited her work "Gracias por su visita" at MAD Brussels from 2 December until 23 February. During the nocturne evening, she will cut her 220x610 large canvas, which she made last June during her artist residency in Arteventura, live into 16 pieces. Would you like to own 1 of the 16 pieces? You can! Bieke is selling the cut-up pieces of her painting.
